When you hire a skip bin it is important to consider the type of waste you will be putting in the bin. Correct identification of the type of skip bin you require is important as this enables us to provide you with lower skip hire prices. Disposal of waste other than what was ordered may result in additional costs to be on charged.

Asbestos | Asbestos containing material items including sheeting, fencing, roofing etc and any waste which asbestos containing material is bonded to. These bins will be supplied with 200um plastic that you will need to use to double line the inside of the bin to allow asbestos material to be placed inside. The customer is responsible for ensuring that asbestos is double lined with plastic provided and sealed using tape provided. All material inside the bin will be disposed of at a facility authorised to accept asbestos waste. Friable asbestos containing material must have been removed by the holder of an asbestos removal licence issued under the Work Health and Safety. | Fire damaged debris, liquid waste e.g. paints, oil, petrol, chemicals – whether in containers/drums or not. Due to new regulations implemented 1st July 2019, non-friable and friable asbestos cannot both be disposed of within one skip bin.
